About Me
Experimental artist with a focus on photography and artist’s books. Passionate about books and their materiality.
I began my poetics by exploring family relationships. Due to the lack of photographic memories, I decided to restore this universe, telling my own story of gestation and maternal love, which resulted in the photobook Eu te amo ovo. The trajectory of a family funeral and its ritualistic, necessary and tedious experience is also present in The day I buried you.
Birth, Death and then the Body. Body-individual, body-free? A floating body in the great capitals of São Paulo and Berlin. How this body expresses and reveals itself is the subject of my current research, resulting in the works Color sensation and Eve. A large photographic body to come.
Degree in Literature (2009) from the University of São Paulo, and a postgraduate degree in Photography as Contemporary Art (2017) from Senac, São Paulo, Brazil.
